By accessing or using ProofSeal (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
ProofSeal enables users to create cryptographic proofs of existence for text and files by anchoring content hashes on the Bitcoin blockchain. Public mode stores your content for display on proof pages; Private mode only stores the content hash.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase you agree to Stripe’s terms. Prices may change over time. Taxes, if applicable, are your responsibility. All fees are non‑refundable unless required by law.
You retain ownership of your content. By using Public mode, you grant us a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of providing the Service.
Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use information, including our use of Simple Analytics, a privacy‑friendly analytics provider that does not use cookies.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error‑free, or that the results will be accurate or reliable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ProofSeal and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in unlawful activity, or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and reflected by an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where ProofSeal is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by law.
